Introducing the Sugar Skull Air Freshener

This beautiful Sugar Skull Air Freshener glows in the dark, smells like vanilla and can make your Prius about 10 times more mysterious! Summer is winding down which means Autumn is just around the corner and, before we know it, Halloween and the Day of the Dead will be here. Make sure your car is dressed and scented for the occasion.

The Sugar Skull Air Freshener also pairs beautifully (and spookily) with our Lucky Skull Porcelain Teapot.

The year of the undead horse

Just in time for 2014, the Year of the Horse, we’ve created an amazingly ghoulish zombie version of our original Horse Head Mask.

But wait, this awesome mask is even more than a zombified horse head with exposed brains, torn flesh and dangling eyeballs, it also glows in the dark!

Unicorn pumpkin king

While unicorns love summer for all its sunshine and rainbows, they are also fond of autumn. We took this unicorn to a corn maze and he declared himself king of the pumpkin patch.

You know how some people are really good at picking out a good melon? Rumor has it that Unicorns have a highly developed sense that enables them to choose the perfect pumpkin.

Thanks to Stocker Farms for letting us take pictures!

Creepy Doll Head Salt & Pepper Shakers

Creepy Doll Head Salt and Pepper Shakers are a good thing to bring out when it’s time for your guests to leave. When you look at old dolls, it’s sometimes hard to imagine that they were made for children to enjoy. They definitely fall into that uncanny valley where they’re just close enough to looking real that they make us uncomfortable.

Perfect for the haunted Halloween season, these undeniably creepy 3″ ceramic doll heads will silently season your food and then stare at you while you sleep. That is, assuming you’re able to fall asleep with them in the room.

No one can be mad at you when you wear a Pug Mask

Take one look at that adorable wrinkly face and you’ll know it’s true. No one can be angry with you while you’re wearing this latex Pug Mask. Just point your giant, sorrowful eyes and tilt your oddly-shaped head, and all the adults within range will be trying to feed you snacks and rub behind your ears.

This is a full-sized adult mask that is sure to be a hit at the dog park. It is so realistic that as soon as you put it on, you’ll feel the urge to snort, beg for food and dress up as a portly, sad bumblebee.

Check out this video for a demonstration of the disarming power of the Pug Mask:

Inflatable Unicorn Horn for Cats

Thanks to their cool and aloof demeanors you might never guess it, but cats love dressing up as other animals, particularly mythological creatures like the awesome unicorn. That’s precisely why we designed the Inflatable Unicorn Horn for Cats.

Cats love it!

Still don’t believe us? Take a look at our very own Molly, who’s wearing an Inflatable Unicorn Horn (for humans), and her awesome kitty Spyke:

Slicey the Pig comes to life

One of the highlights of the Halloween season is the entire Archie McPhee store staff dressing up in different costumes for an entire week leading up to (and including) Halloween itself. There have been many truly great costumes over the years. (You can peruse a few years’ worth via the store’s Flickr account: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and of course this year: 2012)

Halloween 2012 is still a few days away, but we’ve already seen a costume that is sure to go down in Archie McPhee history as one of the best. It’s as hilarious as it is frightening. Behold the wonder that is Dan’l dressed up as Slicey the Pig Dashboard Wiggler, the only pig who is so eager for you to taste how delicious he is, he’s already carving himself up for you:

We’ve even got video of Dan’l standing in the street in front of the store, merrily slicing away at himself for passing cars:

Many customers were creeped out and children terrified, so as far as we’re concerned, mission accomplished. Happy Halloween! Who wants some bacon?
