Here’s Lesson Two from From the Archie McPhee Educational Film Series in which Professor Dan’l teach us How to play a Kazoo:

Sometimes there’s nothing we like better than a rich bite of cake slathered in sweet frosting.
So many people enjoy cake so very much that USA Today recently published an article by Bruce Horovitz about the trend in birthday cake and frosting-flavored products currently on the market. Included among the products they mentioned was our very own frosting-flavored Cupcake Toothpaste:
Novelty product maker Archie McPhee’s Cupcake Toothpaste hit the market in 2011. Spokesman David Wahl says one dad e-mailed his kid’s comments to the company: “He says it isn’t like he’s brushing his teeth anymore — he’s frosting them.”
Taking care of your pearly whites while enjoying the sweet taste of frosting sounds like a dream come true, which is exactly why we made it happen.

Thanksgiving is just a few days away. Have you stocked up on all the necessities?
We want to help make your Thanksgiving dinner memorable, so we’ve stuffed our Thanksgiving shop with all the hilarious trimmings.
For example, the Clumsy Cook Turkey Mask makes it look like you have a raw turkey stuck on your head:
The Inflatable Turkey is the perfect placeholder while your turkey is still in the oven:
Set out a bowl of Thanksgiving Gumballs for everyone to enjoy. The tins of pumpkin, cranberry and turkey flavored gum also make a perfect place setting decoration that each of your guests can take home and enjoy:
This is a very special time of year. Families are gathering to feast, celebrate and reflect. Remember, if people are laughing, they won’t be arguing about politics!
One of the highlights of the Halloween season is the entire Archie McPhee store staff dressing up in different costumes for an entire week leading up to (and including) Halloween itself. There have been many truly great costumes over the years. (You can peruse a few years’ worth via the store’s Flickr account: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and of course this year: 2012)
Halloween 2012 is still a few days away, but we’ve already seen a costume that is sure to go down in Archie McPhee history as one of the best. It’s as hilarious as it is frightening. Behold the wonder that is Dan’l dressed up as Slicey the Pig Dashboard Wiggler, the only pig who is so eager for you to taste how delicious he is, he’s already carving himself up for you:
We’ve even got video of Dan’l standing in the street in front of the store, merrily slicing away at himself for passing cars:
Many customers were creeped out and children terrified, so as far as we’re concerned, mission accomplished. Happy Halloween! Who wants some bacon?
What better way to celebrate these tentacular creatures than with some cephalopods and things that turn you into wonderful mutant cephalopods? Put on your Tentacle Mustache:
Then slip on some Finger Tentacles (or Cthulhu Tentacles for the more sinister cephalopod lovers) and a Tentacle Arm (because there’s no such thing as too many tentacles), take a quick turn with your Scalp Squid Head Massager, and take a sip of coffee from your Octopus Porcelain Mug.
Make sure you don’t leave home without putting all your important stuff in your Hungry Squid Bag:
Follow the Cephalopod Days tumblelog to learn all sorts of interesting things about cephalopods. Use the hashtag #cephdays on any of your own tumblr posts, tweets and photos that are related to International Cephalopod Awareness Days to share them with other cephalopod fans.
Subscribe to the Archie McPhee store YouTube channel so you don’t miss out on a single weird, wonderful, wonderfully weird, or weirdly wonderful video.
You’ll be treated to episodes of The Dan’l Show:

Random awesome customer videos:
Gas Mask Dance!
And the joyous celebration of lesser known holidays, such as International Yodelling Pickle Day:

Friends, this is just the beginning. There are awesome happenings afoot. Stay tuned!
Allow us to introduce The Dan’l Show! Starring…wait for it…Dan’l!
Dan’l is so devoted to his demonstration that he gets a bit carried away and encounters some technical difficulties. Let’s hope he recovers to deliver a second episode of The Dan’l Show!
